At the beginning of August 2018, Gerhard Bartschat travelled to India to start the first project in the megacity of Bikaner. Via Instagram, we found contact with Hari Shankar, who supports us on the spot.

The Llargh Palace Hotel in Bikaner hosted a press conference with local media representatives (press, television, internet) on August 13. Gerhard Bartschat and Hari Shankar presented our project and received broad approval. At the press conference, it was also announced that the next day the first school in Bikaner gets a water filter from us.

At the news conference, NGO Bikaner coordinator Hari Shankar said this filter can filter 1 litre of water in 1 minute. These filters from American production cost $50. Gerhard founded this NGO in memory of his late wife “Regina. (NGO = non-governmental organization)
