Projects
200 schools and 2 hospitals in less then 1 year!Trinkbares-Wasser-Für-Alle (Drinkeable Water for all) was founded in 2018 and started its mission in Bikaner, India. There we could realize more then 200 projects until today (last update: march 2019). A project is equal to a school so it means we have supported more then 200 schools with Sawyer waterfilter systems that we send from America to India and get them installed in the schools with our local team. Founder and team leader Gerhard Bartschat travels regularly to India to oversee the works in the school.
The filters work for decades and are very easy to install and to clean. The periods of the cleaning process depend on the water – if it is very dirty the filters have to be clean more often. Our filters help to clean the water from bacteria and make it drinkable for the children in the schools. Besides schools we have also provided towo hospitals with water filtersystems in India.
Projects in India
Drinkable water for IndiaIndia is the country with the most cities with the strongest pollutions in the world. This also does affect the water quality that mostly is not drinkable which is very sad especially when it comes to schools or even hospitals. These are some reasons why we decided to start our first projects in India to provide people in poor areas of the country with drinkable water. Our mission: Drinkable water for all! If you translate these words to german you get: Trinkbares Wasser für Alle which is the name of this movement for drinkable water.
Bikaner is where everything has started! 600k people live in this town which is located in the north of the state Rajasthan. Since we started we could install filters in more then 150 schools of Bikaner where we have formed a local team for our movement.
In the north of India there is a state called Utta Pradesh, where you can find a very spiritual town called Varanasi. Varansi is known to be a place where Hindu monks go because of the river Ganges where they do their rituals. Since 2018 we were able to realize about 30 projects in very big schools with for example 300 children.
Rothas is a District located in the state of Bihar in the southwest of India. The biggest town of the district is Sasaram where 150k people live, many of them in poverty. Since 2019 we could realize about 20 projects in Rothas where we have also formed a local taskforce to support our movement for cleanwater / drinkable water for all.
